Invisalign works by using a series of removable clear aligner trays, so you have the freedom to remove them for easy cleaning or special occasions. You will switch out aligner trays every two weeks, and come in for a checkup every six to eight weeks, just to make sure your teeth are progressing correctly. Unlike regular braces, they don’t require adjustments, and there’s no metal to irritate your mouth. Your treatment can take anywhere from one to two years, depending on your teeth. Dr. Levine can give you a better estimate of how long it will take.
